Rwanda genocide

i remember the first time i learned about the rwanda genocide. i was a freshman in high school and i was in my world history class and we were watching a movie they made "hotel rwanda" and i was so shocked to see all the violence aganist one another. this topic is important to me because we said never again since the holocaust. many has happen since the hoocaust but we chose to ignore it because its not us. we say its not our problem until someone start attacking us. if this was me in this situation i would want someone to help me. seeing something like this, hearing that thousands of people are dieing a day should want you to help out. al i can say is we can stand up for whats right. lets stop ignoreing things and address them.

Elie Wiesel, a holocaust survivor

as long as i been in school i have never actually did a research or a paper on a holocaust survivor. sure i have read books and saw movies and i even went to a ceremony in chicago in remembence about the holocaust where the lady that spoke about her experience in being in the holocaust just amazed me. the reason why i chose to elie wiesel is because i remember reading his book my shophmore year in high school, and i can never forget some of the things that he talked about and his exprierence in the holocaust. it just shocks me how some people can be so mean and hatred in their hearts. but all i can do as a young women is pray for them love everyone the same as i love my self.
